The Brief
To supply a 55 sqm Modular Operating Theatre with anesthetic, prep, scrub and two bed recovery unit to a first floor alcove over an existing flat roof scanning suite.

The Solution
A steel framed 7 module unit was manufactured (1st and second floor). The building was manufactured with top half clad in louvered panels, with the whole building finished in a terracotta colour to match the existing buildings. A steel matrix was designed and installed to support the new theatre.
The modules were manufactured in a eight week period and erected on site in one day, with connection to existing structure and commissioning taking a further eight weeks.
